Open Role

Software Engineering Intern — Consent Management Platform

Engineering On-Site / New Delhi Internship

Overview

Help build Phase 1 of our flagship product: a DPDP-compliant Consent Management Platform (CMP) used by Indian businesses to collect and store user consent. You'll work alongside senior engineers shipping real, user-facing features to live clients — not throwaway side tasks.

Job Description

You will work across the stack on our B2B Consent Management Platform: building the embeddable consent banner widget and hosted preference centre, developing admin-console screens for notice authoring and purpose management, wiring up the multilingual notice pipeline and CMS plugins, and creating the demo environments used in real client pilots. The work is hands-on full-stack development on a compliance-critical product, with senior engineers guiding you on the security- and compliance-sensitive areas.

Your Role

Your role is to ship real product features alongside senior engineers while learning how a compliance-grade system is built. You will own and contribute to user-facing and tooling work, but you will learn from — rather than independently own — the senior-owned, compliance-critical areas: the cryptographic consent ledger (tamper-evidence and signing), tenant isolation and the core security architecture, and the DPDP compliance decision logic and children's-data verification.

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX: build and refine the embeddable consent banner widget and hosted preference centre using React or vanilla JavaScript.
Admin dashboard: develop admin-console screens in React for notice authoring, purpose management, and related workflows.
Integrations: wire up the multilingual notice pipeline using translation services, and build CMS plugins (e.g. WordPress, Shopify) for the cookie scanner.
Testing: write unit and integration tests, and assist with QA across the various consent flows.
Client demos: create demo environments and sample integrations used in actual client pilots.
Engineering support: contribute to internal tooling, fix bugs across the stack, and help build lower-risk API endpoints and webhooks.

Required Skills

Front-end development with React and/or vanilla JavaScriptComfort with TypeScript and consuming REST APIsWriting unit and integration testsAttention to correctness, privacy, and data integrityGit-based collaboration and code review

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science or a related field.
Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React, with some hands-on project experience.
Eagerness to learn full-stack development on a production, compliance-critical product.
Interest in data protection, privacy engineering, or compliance tooling; familiarity with the DPDP Act or GDPR-style consent concepts is a plus.
